Job Overview:
As a Bloomingdale's Loss Prevention Officer/ Store Detective you are responsible for protecting the assets and people of your location. Our Loss Prevention training program will provide you with the knowledge and tools to do the job, while you grow in responsibility. We have a strong promote-from-within policy in Loss Prevention, enabling our Loss Prevention associates to grow in their own store, or move to other locations across the country.
Core Responsibilities:
 | Apprehending shoplifters. |
 | Investigating and controlling internal theft. |
 | Participating in store shortage reduction program, including working in partnership with specific departments. |
 | Maintaining building security. |
Skill Summary:
Applicant should be creative, outgoing and detail oriented. Retail experience preferred but will train right person. Hours depend on business needs, but include two nights per week & Saturdays.
