Job Overview:
Senior level executive responsible for all aspects of running a profitable store location. Responsible for setting the tone and leading the stores culture/environment to ensure success in all aspects of customer service, profitability, operations, people development, merchandise presentation and merchandise assortment.

Core Responsibilities:

bulletAttain sales and profitability goals for store through effective use of short and long-range planning, expense management and inventory shortage control.
bulletAssumes leadership and development role through effective total store communication, awareness of morale, staff development, and implementation of selling priorities.
bulletDirects the recruiting efforts of the store to ensure staffing is up to plan. Improves retention by emphasizing awareness of people development and career development.
bulletDevelops strategy for execution of promotional events, seasonal events and day-to-day operation of store.
bulletWorks with central organization to ensure expense management is within budget.
bulletEnsure consistent high standards of customer service through effective staff planning, monitoring of training programs and timely communication of advertising and special events. Responds to customers inquiries and resolves customer issues in timely and appropriate manner.
bulletMaintains standards of operation for total store including visual presentation, security/shortage control, human resources and operations. Ensures adherence to pricing policies on merchandising.

Skill Summary

bulletMinimum of 10 years of retail management experience in a full-line department store with direct P & L responsibility.

bulletHighly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
bulletExcellent written and verbal communication skills.

bulletAbility to develop, plan and execute strategies.
