Job Overview
Planning Executive Development Program
Prepare for your first position as an Assistant Planner through a combination of hands-on and classroom training. You'll learn to analyze financial data, plan merchandise assortment selections, and develop plans by store location to achieve specific business goals. You'll also work directly with one of our Planners to develop an overall business strategy for each department.
What you have the opportunity to do
- Learn the elements of financial forecasting and allocation
- Identify stock issues and opportunities by region and by store
- Maintain appropriate stock levels by managing replenishment systems
- Analyze assortment effectiveness and make assortment adjustments by store location
- Track key item and style performance, actual vs. plan, by location
- Communicate store and regional stock levels and issues to Manager of Planning
- Bachelor's degree with solid academic record, all majors welcome
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects to achieve productivity and business goals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
