Planning Internship

This 120 hour per semester paid internship is available in the fall, spring and summer in New York. Through its coursework, you will learn the basics of inventory planning for a Web site and gain valuable experience to launch your career in the direct-to-consumer retail business.

What you have the opportunity to do

• Work with inventory planning tools and systems
• Gain an understanding of dynamic replenishment and model stock
• Learn purchase order management and open-to-buy forecasting
• Work with Planners to learn assortment planning for the Web site

What to bring to the internship

• Junior year status working toward a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Merchandising or related fields with a solid academic record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must
• Previous office experience is preferred
• Retail experience is a plus
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, while working independently and as part of a team
