Selling Team Leader Overview:

 

As a Selling Team Leader you are a Selling Professional in a Leadership role. You will sell and serve as a role model in building relationships through listening and responding to your customers’ needs while leading a team of Sales Professionals to do the same. As a Selling Team Leader you will have personal goals to achieve with added responsibility of assisting a Team in building and cultivating client relationships.

 

All hourly associates are eligible to receive a quarterly bonus incentive, colleague discounts and the opportunity to be a part of an iconic brand. Certain criteria must be met to receive the quarterly bonus incentive.

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Outstanding selling behaviors, listening and responding to customer needs to deliver service with sharp awareness of current fashion trends 
  • Building and cultivating relationships with customers through personal interaction 
  • Develop repeat business to grow personal sales, utilizing B-connected to maintain client files 
  • Cultivates a team of Sales and Service Professionals to engage and build relationship with customers 
  • Leads a team through practice, and reinforcement of selling and relationship building skills 
  • Coaches Sales Professionals to maximize the business opportunity through interpersonal skills, knowledge of fashion and pop culture 
  • Leverage skills to sell effectively to different types of customers

Skills Summary:

  • Prior lead/supervisory experience within a retail store strongly preferred. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with customers, peers and management. 
  • Comfortable with register systems and other technology as needed 
  • Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers; demonstrates an energetic and positive attitude with a leadership presence 
  • Ability to motivate and provide feedback to Sales Team 
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functional areas to achieve results 
  • 4 year College Degree, preferred
